This site is intended to be a one-stop shop for foresters and others working in forest management providing:
- A guide for how to carry out forestry as a government employee;
- A guide for how to carry out forestry as a service provider for government;
- A guide for other stakeholders in a private or public interest capacity;
- A wealth of information on forestry and forest management for Uganda.
This site enables you to find the information you need quickly and efficiently. You can also download and print the information you need for reference in the field etc.
The site is managed by the Forest Sector Support Department (FSSD): ideas and contributions are welcome from foresters - whether working in:
- FSSD;
- National Forestry Authority;
- District Local Governments;
- Private Sector; and,
- Civil Society Organisations.
